Amex Ascent Premium, Ascent and Gateway MR program linked and combined - what happens when I cancel the Platinum Charge card?

Hello guys,

If three MR program has been linked (Platinum, Edge and Explorer )and combined, then I cancel platinum charge card.

Will all the points be inherited to ascent program between leftover edge and explorer card?

Hi mightyview,

My best guess is downgrade to Ascent as Ascent is higher up than Gateway. Best to ask an Amex agent to confirm.
