Hoping to open an Amex explorer card and claim the 100,000 points sign up bonus. I do have a supplementary card for my partners existing Amex card, but no Amex card in my name within the 18 month window noted for qualification. Will I qualify for bonus points if I apply for the Explorer card in my name?
Yes. My wife is a supplementary cardholder to my Amex Qantas card and she signed up for the Amex Velocity card and will receive the points (I can see it’s already been credited in the rewards statement after the required spend).
