What is the Citi Prestige sign up bonus eligibility for past Citi card owner?

I’m interested in getting the Citi Prestige credit card, Just wondering if anyone knows the cool down time for citi bank between cards (i cancelled my last citi bank card in August 2016).

Dont really want to sing up for the card and then not be eligible for the bonus points.

I see it says “This bonus is only available for new cardholders who sign up for the Citi Rewards-linked card”.

Any more info would be great.

I’ve read the T & Cs and could not find any mention of previous account holders so my guess is that you should be fine. I’d be calling them first.
