What is the best credit card for earning points to redeem for Singapore Airlines flight from Melbourne to Cape Town?

Hi All,

New here. I was looking for recommendations on the best opportunities for bonus points cards to be used on a business class trip on Singapore Airlines from Melbourne → Singapore → Cape Town.

I just closed my Qantas Premier card account which got me 105,000 Qantas points but don’t really want to do Qantas Mel → Syd → Jhb → Cpt.

Have a look at what promotions are available. Either find a decent signup bonus or a decent earn rate (maybe both if you can find one).

Go to the Krisflyer section.

It costs 121k Velocity pts for MEL-SIN-JNB in business class; 139k Velocity pts for MEL-SIN-JNB-CPT.

MEL-SIN-JNB-CPT costs 99k Krisflyer miles which sounds like a bargain.
