What is the best credit card for collecting points toward cruises?

Hello,
I am new to the world of CCs. I have been researching for over a week now. I am searching for CCs that could earn me points on my daily spending towards cruising and holidays. I don’t fly often. I fell in love with cruising, especially Virgin Voyage, and would love to try Royal Caribean and Disney Cruise too.

My thoughts are:

  • Primary flexible CC such as AMEX Explorer, and then

  • VISA or MASTERCARD (NO International Trans. Fee & Low Exchange Rate if possible) for those occasions that AMEX won’t be accepted or has a surcharge fee attached to purchase.

Which CCs would you guys recommend?
