Hey! I am new to this. I have an Amex Velocity Platinum card. I’ve earned the bonus points through minimum spend. I want to cancel the card and move onto another card as most of you would do. I’m wondering if I will lose my points in my Velocity account if I cancel the card? Thanks in advance!

No, Amex have no way to claw back the points as it is no longer on their system. Cancel away if you so desire.

Pretty sure it’s across all cards. I.e. I’ve never experienced or heard about it happening as it is usually out of their hands once the points have been transferred out.
