We booked return business class flights to Hong Kong from Australia on Hong Kong airlines and travelled in December 2017. The flights were booked on the Virgin Australia website and the Hong Kong Airlines flights all began with a VA flight number. On our Velocity account the flights are listed but we have received zero status credits and zero Velocity Points. Velocity call centre staff keep saying it is a problem with Hong Kong Airlines - so they pass the problem and it still isn’t resolved. Are other people having the same issues?
We are having issues with earning Velocity status and points from Hong Kong Airlines. Anyone experiencing similar issues?
Same rave for me Oct-Dec, Gold Coast to Hong Kong last year. Took ages to get the SC and Points. Lodged Missing Reward Points with VA and eventually came through 6 weeks later after calling and insisting they be credited. Ensure you were in (I) class and that is clearly indicated on the VA website as eligible.
