What is the best / most cost effective way to use approximately 300k Westpac Altitude points. Would like to use them for flights / upgrades, but not sure how to best achieve this. Open to use them in any way that gives the best value.
Hello and welcome @mcinnes3722 !
The “best” way to use your Altitude points is to convert them to frequent flyer points and use them for flights.
Where would you like to go? 300k Altitude points can be converted to 100k frequent flyer points in either Velocity, KrisFlyer or Cathay.
That could get you a return Business class trip to anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, and a return Premium Economy trip (or maybe Business class one way and economy return) to many places in Asia. It would also fly you one-way to the USA in a premium cabin, or one-way to Europe in Economy.
Let us know what you’re after more specifically and we’ll be sure to help you out! Be aware though that “getting the best value” is highly personal and subjective. I’d say the “best value” for me would be something like a return trip in Business class to NZ, but if you’re not interested in NZ it’s not the best value for you!
