Qantas Hotels - any thoughts on upcoming promotion?

Hey all,

What do we all think the likelihood of Qantas Hotels offering a promotion/sale anytime soon?
I think last Novemeber they offered a short 3 day promotion of 9 points per dollar spent across all hotels.

I’ve got a bunch of hotels I need to book for an upcoming trip to USA - it isn’t until August. I’m waiting patiently for another decent promotion before I pull the trigger!

What are people’s thoughts on an upcoming promotion?

Another option is probably to book a refundable hotel. This can be a hedge against currency fluctuations and possible Qantas Hotel bonus offer.
