Now, when you contact Westpac by phone, it seems that no matter what option you choose or what keywords you say, it’ll tell you to do it online or in the app, offers to send a link to your phone and then hangs up on you. It is literally impossible to speak to anyone about anything. So I rang my local branch a week ago. They didn’t answer their phone so I left a voicemail. They haven’t returned my call.
I would never go in to a branch because any time I have done so in the past, info given by people in the branch seems at odds to what the people from the call centre give you.
So much for my credit card application.
I’ve submitted all my documents and it’s currently been in limbo for two weeks. Useless.
