Always worth saying something positive when you have a good experience.
I had Amex Explorer, I have used the trace credit to book a trip that was cancelled due to COVID.
After I have booked the trip, I have cancelled my card (mainly due to no Int’l travel, and I wanted to get a sign-up bonus again in the future).
After I had to cancel my trip, they immediately said it is not a problem and I will get a refund. Because I was no longer a member, it was tricky to give me back the travel credit. Eventually, they just gave me the full amount to my bank account! It was lengthy, and I had to chat/call a few time, but I was very surprised.
Definitely looking forward to rejoining Amex, and stay with them for good. I really enjoy their service and benefits.
