Is it worthwhile to take up AMEX David Jones card upgrade offer?

I have been offered an upgrade to the DJs Platnium card ($295) from my regular DJs card ($99) and 60000 Membership rewards points (30000 kris flyer ). Apart from getting two extra points at DJs and maybe some travel insurance ( which I always book my own) is the extra annual fee worth the money.I would only do it for one year then revert back to the regular black card.My current card expires in June and I have been told there is no credit on unused months.

I believe there are cards with better benefits, like Amex Explorer. But you won’t be eligible for the bonus since you already have Amex I assume.

I would do the math if 30k KF miles are worth $200 for my usage. Also, check the earn rate.
