Curious to know whether the PP just gets declined when swiped, or whether the food bill gets automatically charged onto the linked Amex card.
I’ll answer my own question here. It will get declined with a message saying that your PP card is no longer part of the membership programme when the outlet swipes your card on their POS terminal.
Oddly it worked for me a couple of days ago when I first tried it since the change, but didn’t work today.
