David Jones storecard-does that exclude me from getting signup bonus offer from Amex?

Hello there,

I have David Jones storecard for years and its credit is provided by American Express. There are a few Amex issued credit cards that offer huge bonus offers and one of the criteria is not having Amex issued credit card for 18 months. I was wondering if I still have my david jones storecard, does that exclude me for the bonus offer If I apply for new Amex credit cards?

I had a David Jones card.  I asked this same question directly to Amex, and they said you are fine.  It is not counted as an Amex card for the purposes of that exclusion.
