David Jones American Express Cards excluded as existing AMEX issued card?

In your 4 May 2017 update (Beginner's guide: whether you qualify for an Amex sign-up bonus) you mentioned that AMEX had said: “David Jones American Express Cards are excluded, which means DJ Card members can apply for other Consumer or Small Business Cards and will receive the Welcome Bonus and vice versa as long as they don’t also hold or have held the other Card type in past 18 months.”

Do you happen to know if the David Jones AMEX exclusion is identified in the AMEX Terms and Conditions? I cannot locate it anywhere.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I don’t have access to the exact detail on the T&C but I have heard on numerous accounts that it is indeed the case and some agents can confirm if you wish to get a confirmation from Amex.
