Can Virgin Australia Gold members guest family into lounges in Melbourne and Los Angeles if flying with Virgin Australia?

Hi everyone - travelling to the US next month with wife and two kids on VA both ways, I’m VA Gold - will I be able to guest the whole family into a lounge on the outward leg from Melbourne and prior to the return leg from LA? I’ve heard the kids count as guests which puts me over my guesting limit. If we can get in - is it Etihad flying over from MEL and Emirates in LAX?

By the looks of it, the four of you can get into Virgin lounges. Not sure about partner lounges.

If you are flying Virgin metal, its Etihad lounge in MEL and Emirates or LA international lounge depending on flight number from LAX.

I was just reading from the pages. No personal experience in accessing the lounges as Gold.
