Just a quick question about the Virgin High Flyer sign up bonus - it says it’s for new customers but I want to know if there are any Amex-like time periods involved. I had a Virgin money credit card until December and I’m wondering if that makes me ineligible for the offer? I can’t seem to find any info out there… Anyone know anything about this?
I checked the Terms and Conditions (item 20) and it makes no mention of previous account holders and simply states …
‘80,000 bonus Velocity Points offer is available to new approved Virgin Australia Velocity High Flyer Card account holders who apply by 30 April 2018.’
I rang the call centre and was told that anyone who previously held a card IS NOT a new account holder. It was also mentioned that ‘if the applicant is already on our records, they will not qualify’
Ah ok, thanks for the info Bofman. Good to know! So ineligible for any future offers maybe. Crazy!
