Looking at applying for the Amex qantas card before the 100k points bonus ends and I can’t find the answer to this anywhere. Could the Amex travel credit and/or free qantas flight be used to make a booking for someone other than the card holder? Ie can I book a flight via either method for my girlfriend if I’m not travelling?

Yes. The travel credit will show in your account when you log in to Amex Travel. It can be used for booking car rental, accommodation, flights etc. You make the booking as per usual and insert the passengers name then you will be given the option to use the credit as payment or part payment. For bookings less than $400, any unused portion of the credit will be forfeited.
