I have Velocity Amex card.
Looking to take one more card out before the rule changes in Jan.
If I take out a different card from amex would I still get their bonus points for signing up and the requisite spend, or should I only look at non-Amex options to maximise my chances for points?

If you already have an AmEx card, you will not be eligible for a sign-up bonus for a new AmEx card. The sign-up bonuses are only for those who don’t have an AmEx-issued card already. So your Velocity AmEx card means that you won’t get another sign-up bonus.
