Hi All - just want to check I’m on the right lines. I’ve not had an Amex card as a primary holder for over 18 months. But I currently hold a supplementary Amex Platinum Velocity card (my wife is the main account holder).
Can I apply for an Amex Platinum Velocity of my own and be eligible for the 100k velocity signup bonus? My thinking is yes?

Definitely yes. But I can’t blame you for checking first. 18mths is a long time - you don’t wanna mess it up.
In case you don’t already know, it is usually a great idea to refer yourself from your wife’s card, earning additional referral points.
I’m the same. Wife is the long term cardholder.
Can my wife refer and still use the point hacks link for me to sign up? Currently the standard Amex link for AMEX velocity platinum is 50k bonus but point hacks link signup is 100k.
I just checked and I see 100k signup bonus via referral link.
Nice, that must have just changed in the last 24 hours, it was at 50k yesterday! I’ve got lucky!!
