Is there much difference between business class on Emirates Boeing 777-300ER to Emirates A380?
Is one better than the other for a long haul flight?

I’ve flown both flights regularly from Melbourne to Dubai and back.
A380:
You have your own drinks and small snacks.
There is a bar at the back.
Due to the large number of business seats, I felt a bit neglected.
777:
Doesn’t have any of the above, but there are less seats. IMO service is better.
To be honest, I’d just go for the cheapest option or the one that costs you less points.

What Alsy said is pretty much the summary. Depends whether you value the bar. If not, the 777 may be a better option.
