Which airline program to credit Egyptair codeshare flights

Hi,

My first message!

I have a booking in Business (D class) from Cairo to Melbourne. Cairo to Abu Dhabi is operated by Egyptair and the connecting flight is operated by Etihad. Both have Egyptair flight numbers and are codeshares.

Im confused about which loyalty programme to use out of Velocity, Etihad and Egyptair, although i think i just read Egyptair dont pay points if its not operated by them.

If anyone could advise please Id be grateful. I have Qantas FF as well as above.

I would personnally refer to this sites as a starting point. Egyptair is not a Velocity partner so you will have to pick another partner airline to credit your flight.

Thank you for that. the problem i believe is that its a MS codeshare on the etihad service. etihad is not star alliance and egyptair wont give points if the operating service is not a member. As far as i can tell.
Ill keep searching.
