Where can you use the free stopover in a Krisflyer redemption?

Hi,

Let’s say I am flying SYD-FCO with a saver redemption, which allows me to have a free stopover.
The stopover, I imagine, must be where the original planned stop (in this case, SIN) correct?

I saw some other options like Hong Kong, Tokyo, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Manchester. Is there a way to stop there for the same amount of miles?

Yes, this is typically the stopover on your planned route. E.g. SIN in a SYD-SIN-FCO or FRA in a SYD-SIN-FRA-JFK route.
