What's the usual transfer time for Velocity to Krisflyer points transfers?

Anyone with experience out there transferring Velocity points into Krisflyer miles?

Can you give me your experience in the amount of time it takes from when you submit the transfer to when the Krisflyer miles are available in your account?

Looking to eventually book some Singapore first class seats, but don’t to transfer the points across if I can’t get the dates I want (and instead would book Etihad business class).

Instant! That said, I always factor in things that might go wrong like an IT glitch and points maybe stuck in the limbo. I’ve read someone had experienced it, but that was during the time KF was doing promotions of 5000 free miles and people are transferring their miles like crazy. Normally it shouldn’t happen. If that happens, you can ask VA to compensate you with bonus points.
