I read they shut down almost all lounges recently, I have to travel for work next month BNE-SYD-BNE does anyone know if the VA & QF lounges at each end are operating? Thanks in advance
There are no airport lounges operating at any domestic terminals in Australia. So you will not have access to any lounge at either airport.
The news gets worse – almost all airport eateries are closed as well. In some terminals there’s one coffee shop and/or a fast food place such as McDonalds or Hungry Jacks open, presumably for takeaway only. But that’s it.
I’m flying domestically this weekend and I’m planning on grabbing a fresh cheese & bacon bread roll or two from a bakery or a supermarket to bring with me: it’ll be nicer, and certainly better value-for-money, than any food available at the airport.
