My wife and I are now retired and plan on doing quite a bit of travel.
We are velocity Gold at present.
Can we use a lounge in Zurich using our Velocity Gold flying economy with Singapore Airlines?

Welcome!
I’m afraid that your Velocity Gold status won’t get you into a lounge at Zurich. You can only use lounges that are “owned and operated by Singapore Airlines”, and Singapore does not own and operate its own lounge at Zurich (I think it uses the SWISS lounge).
