What is the best way to travel from Melboirne to Cairo in business class mid/end of August (in 3 weeks)?

I have lots of velocity points that I’d like to use however I’ve read that using them on Etihad flights may not be the best value for money.
I’m happy to purchase points with other rewards if it’s a better deal. Also happy to pa for flight if there are delays out there people have come across

See if you can use your points to get there, and consider buying a one way ticket home. Business fares departing Cairo can be very cheap compared to departures from other airports, so it can be a great way to earn a lot points.
