What would be the best and cheapest way to fly to Canada, taking advantage of the Qantas “Save 30% on Classic Flight Rewards” sale? Flights must be in economy. And flights must also have a QF prefix. So unfortunately it appears you can’t take advantage of flying American Airlines and their lower taxes. Would appreciate any help! Am considering SYD-SFO (which I think is the closest Qantas route to Canada) and then a cash internal flight between SFO and YVR.
They had ran seasonal Vancouver flights direct but it seems not this year. So yeah, Sydney to either Los Angeles or San Francisco is your best bet. Keep in mind the carrier surcharges might not be worth it for the 30% discount.
