What happens to Qantas status credits and membership year on achieving silver status?

With some long flights, I’m about to reach silver Qantas Frequent Flyer status (300 credits). just a few questions:

  1. Does my anniversary date reset to a new date once silver is reached?
  2. I'm doing a 90 credit flight which will take me to 330 credits for the year, does that mean 30 credits are "carried over"?

Hi! Congrats on reaching silver. In answer to your questions:

  1. No. You keep your anniversary date of your membership year forever more, year on year.
  2. Your status credits are not reset to 0 on achieving Silver. You can keep earning more - if you hit 700 in your current membership year you'll earn Gold, and onward from there.
