Hi folks,
I’ve had great success with kind folks helping/advising in the past on this wonderful forum, so seeking advice again.
QFF member with around 400,000 QFF points, seeking advice on a trip to SE Asia for 2pp from Canberra (Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Bangkok and Tokyo are thoughts) for December 2025/January 2026, date of departure mid Dec, return mid January. Dates slightly flexible. As are the order of the destinations. Very happy with Premium Economy, and wishful thinking (re availability) of Business.
Thank you all,
Claire
I should mention, mainly seeking advice on airlines and the best order of destinations. How lucky do you think I might be with finding more than economy flights?
Cheerio
Hi @Claire_Atteia,
I would start by looking at the flight availability on OneWorld Alliance carriers - so you can use your Qantas FF points. Several Oneworld Alliance member airlines operate flights from Australia to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Bangkok, and Tokyo.
After some searching, here’s an overview of some options:(oneworld Flights)
I would figure out what routes and order of flights you want, based on seat availability and your schedule. Then slowly piece together your trip legs using the Multi-City search tool on Qantas website. It’s a slow laborious task, but well worth it when you snag those premier seats up in the pointy end of the plane.
I’d jump on it asap too, given your are wanting to fly at one of the most busiest time of the year too.
Best of luck!
