Does anyone know if Virgin still do sales/discounts if you redeem flights for points on upgrades etc?

Sorry but could you clarify your question? Do you mean buying a sale fare and upgrading with points?
Sorry I meant using points to buy reward seats. I think they have previously done ‘sales’ on the point values for flight seat redemptions - I no longer live in Aus but want to use the points to book a trip home but am trying to catch up on the news.
