Virgin Australia is currently running a very confusing target double status credit offer. It is confusing because a business manager must be used. It cannot be booked then online through the Velocity website. Which travel agents offer this service ? And is it still possible to book online with them ?
I have been talking to Virgin reps since last Friday when the double SC emails went out. First couple of times, i got no answer. The reps were puzzled themselves about the term ‘travel management company’ and simply said they need to ask the higher up’s and find out before they can say anything.
Finally this afternoon, I was contacted by a friendly rep who confirmed that flights booked on Virgin Australia website will attract double SC’s. However, this is a targeted offer, so if you did not receive the email and activated the offer, you are not entitled.
