Should I layover in Melbourne or Brisbane for a Sydney to Singapore Qantas indirect flight?

Hi guys,

I’m about to book Sydney to Singapore business class on Qantas with points - direct flight has no award seat availability so it’s either Melbourne or Brisbane for a couple of hours during the layover - my question is would you rather spend those hours in the Brisbane or Melbourne International business lounge?

I think the Qantas Brisbane lounge is new. Also it would mean shorter time in the air
