Qantas 747 'old' first class seats sold as business class - any experience with the dining table?

Hi

I’m flying with my wife on the qantas 747’s old first class that is sold as business class. I’ve looked at a few reviews and noticed the dining table is pretty big.

Does this mean i can sit on the small footrest/ottoman and eat with my wife on her seat?

Anyone know?

Hi Nick,

We just recently flew in this when we went from Syd-Jhb. Although we did not use the dining table like this, I did notice another couple in the same area who had both their meals set up like this.

I hope you enjoy it. I found this business class to be quite dated.
