Krisflyer miles - which is more beneficial? To convert Velocity to Krisflyer or AMEX rewards to Krisflyer?

Hi all,

I am short of krisflyer miles for the next trip. Could someone please guide would it be better if I transfer my velocity to Krislfyer for top up or AMEX rewards point to Krisflyer for top up. I know Velocity runs promotions to transfer to velocity but not sure if similar is applicable for transferring out of velocity (to Krisflyer). Would doubt if AMEX runs anything at all such as bonus points for transfers etc. thanks all!!

Velocity points transfer at a rate of 1.35 for 1 Kris Mile so when I had a stack of Amex reward points, I transferred the directly to Kris Miles at a rate of 1:1
