I’m thinking of transferring my Krisflyer miles to Velocity before they expire. It’s not enough for a reward flight or upgrade. The current conversion rate is 1.55 to 1. Has there been any promotional periods in the past, where you got a better conversion rate? If so, are they coming up regularly?

Not historically so I wouldn’t hold out hope on it. Good thing is Velocity points are generally quite easy to earn, much more so than KrisFlyer.
