Is there a way to include a stopover in a single Velocity Singapore Airlines redemption?

Hi, looking to book a Velocity rewards flight FUK-SIN-ADL, but want a few day stopover in SIN on the way - but Multi-City on the Virgin website doesn’t seem to allow it.

FUK-ADL as a single flight is 203400pts for the two of us in business.
Booking FUK-SIN and SIN-ADL individually it’s 113400 + 132800, so 42800pts more.

Booking through SQ direct as KrisFlyer they allow the stopover, but can’t currently transfer points across, and it’s 270000 KrisFlyer points…

Do I just have to pony up the extra 42800pts or is there another way?

No other way around it as far as I am aware. Velocity doesn’t do stopovers. Two separate flights is required as still can’t do Velocity-Krisflyer transfer. I wouldn’t hold my breath as to when/if they will vring it back.
