Is it possible to extend a stopover when redeeming Singapore Airlines Business Reward using Velocity points?

Hello everyone - as mentioned in another post, we have booked return business reward tickets through Velocity redemption from Melbourne - Kuala Lumpur, with a stopover of a few hours in Singapore both ways.

Is it possible to extend one of these stopovers (preferably on the way back to Melbourne) for a couple of nights? I know this can be done if booking directly through SQ, but is this an option for Velocity redemptions?

I believe it is only possible with 2 separate redemptions if using Velocity.
