If I cancel my Amex Velocity Platinum card, do I retain the associated lounge passes?

Hi all, I’m thinking of cancelling my my card. I have 4 velocity lounge passes (extended and next year from covid)- if i cancel my card, do I retain the lounge access?

As long as the Virgin Australia lounge passes appear in your Velocity Frequent Flyer account, you won’t lose them upon cancelling the Amex Velocity Platinum Card. It’s safely deposited into your Velocity account.
