I am a Velocity Platinum member & will be flying Singapore Airlines but providing my Krisflyer number - will I still get Singapore Airlines lounge access?

I am Velocity FF Platinium & will be flying Sing Air but using my Krisflyer number- will I still get Sing Air Lounge access?

My understanding is you will be eligible for up to the first class lounge but not to the private room.
