I booked a room through Kris Flyer from my son’s account. Now I received an email saying that he needs to be present for the booking which he won’t be. I can still cancel the booking however Krisflyer doesn’t allow me to transfer between family members (he is over 18). Any ideas what I can do? Thanks
That’s right. Krisflyer only allows transfers to dependents who are considered children within the program. One workaround is to transfer to Velocity Frequent Flyer at 1.55:1 rate. You do lose out on some points, but because Velocity allows for pooling between adult Velocity accounts as well, this may be one way to claw back at least some of the points.
