How to use Westpac Altitude points to get flights to Korea or Japan in January 2019?

Hi everyone,

I am planning a family holiday for 6 adults to Korea and Japan in January 2019. I have 1 million altitude rewards points to use towards the trip. What is the best value for money way to use the points?

Should I transfer them all to an Airline partner such as Velocity, or should I redeem the points with Altitude rewards for flights?

Hi Lee,

One way is to transfer your points to Krisflyer.

It costs for 1 way person (AU east coast to Japan or Australia) on Singapore Airlines via Singapore:

42k economy, 67.5k prem. econ, 83k business, 105 first class

1 million westpac points should get you 400k Krisflyer points.
