How to use Velocity points to get to Sri Lanka?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I’ve been following steps on the site to amass points and so far so good - I’ve got ~200k velocity points saved up. I’m hoping to get some advice on how to do the following:

  • I’m looking to book a one way flight to Sri Lanka in Nov 2017.
  • I’d like to fly business or premium economy.
  • It doesn’t have to be direct (e.g. happy to fly most of the way business, then do a short hop to Colombo)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
