How to use QFF family transfers to transfer small amount of QFF points?

I have a small number of QFF point but not enough to transfer to my husbands QFF account. Is it possible for him to transfer the minimum 5000 QFF points to my account and then for me to transfer back the points including my small amount of QFF points to consolidate all the points into the one account?
