How to use 500,000 Velocity points to get to Europe in business class?

Hi,

I have approx 500,000 velocity points and am wanting to purchase 2 return business class tickets to Europe in July 2018. Our main location for the trip is Italy but know it may be worthwhile flying into a different country to be able to fly business class using points and then buy flights with cash across to Italy.
We are open to airlines

Any help would be great!

Hi Stacey,

For example, AU east coast to Europe cost 139k Velocity pts or (141750 Velocity pts via Krisflyer) for 1 way in Business Class with Singapore Airlines.

You have enough points for between 3-4 one ways.

Best to have a look at availabilities around 11/12 mths in advance. Seats to EU and USA gets snatched up very quickly. Transfer to Krisflyer for better availability.
