How to upgrade flights with Qantas points?

Hi
I’m looking at flying to Manchester UK end of June for a week then on to Athens for 2 1/2 weeks then back home to Adelaide. I have over 300K points. Can i upgrade to Business if I purchase standard Economy flights first? If so how can I do this with Qantas points?

Have a read of this article if you haven’t already. It should explain all the different upgrade options.

Unfortunately, upgrades with Qantas points is only available on Qantas metal, i.e. not available on Emirates and other Qantas partner flights.

You can use Qantas points on outright business class redemptions on Qantas and other partner airlines.
