How to redeem Qantas or Velocity points to fly direct Tokyo to Vancouver?

Which airlines that fly direct Tokyo-Vancouver can I redeem either QFF or Velocity points for flights for please?

Hi Brad,

For TYO-YVR direct,

Krisflyer (transfer from Velocity) - you can fly Air Canada or ANA

QFF - you can fly Japan Airlines

Thanks for that! So (excuse my ignorance), for option 1 is the best approach to transfer points into Krisflyer, then book through Singapore Airlines and hope an Air Canada or ANA flight option appears? And same for QFF? I have looked for rewards flights on the Qantas page and JAL flights don’t appear. Knowing the best way to locate redeemable flights is my weakness!
