How to get Qantas agents to add flights to my Qantas OneWorld RTW itinerary?

Hi
Need help as Qantas are no help at all .I can book my first 7 flights and need help booking the last 3 ,I have rung Qantas twice today and neither of them are familiar with this, they keep trying to get me to click on RTW and I said its a multi city with a 318000 cap .what do I do after I book the first 7 flights .I am stressed because i am worried about loosing flights ,thank you

Hi,

I’ve not done it myself but from what I understand you book as much as you can on the website then you ring to add more flights onto the existing itinerary. I don’t know what the keywords are of requesting this but for some less competent agents, I figured too much info might not be helpful. I’d suggest not saying “RTW” and just ask them to add flights to the itinerary and get them to price it up.

If you could also provide more details on the itinerary booked so far and the three flights that you are trying to add so that we can have a quick look to see whether anything is potentially not quite right.

Not the silver bullet answer you might be expecting but we can only help troubleshoot your case when we have more information.

I did book the Qantas classic business class with the 318,000 cap ,omg I was so proud of myself I literally was laughing out loud .It took me two whole weekends 15 hours each day to research and coordinate .Now I would like to add more flights but Qantas are saying I cannot add anymore

Congrats.

We will need to know the airlines involved to be able to comment further. You could attached a screenshot without your personal details and reference code if that’s the least work for you.

Great effort @pancho!!
It really is a great feeling when all your planning, researching and patience comes to fruition. Awesome stuff and well done.
