Hey guys,
Thanks in advance for being mad dudes and helping this guy out.
My wife and I have 380k Qantas FF points between us.
I’m looking to fly over to the USA in May to go to Omaha for about a week. Just me.
I’ve flown over to the USA before, and did the Sydney - Dallas Flight which was epic. I’d like to make the long leg (both ways) business class, although in economy you could pay for the row and lie down which was pretty good, but I’m 6 foot so my legs go into the aisle unless you lie on your side and that totally sucks. Still think business would be a better option if they have the flat beds.
What about the new Dreamliner? From my research that runs Melb-LA, and although other flights in business likely will have flat beds tech, the Dreamliner is just a better plane.
Not concerned about the domestic Aussie legs, but hoping some of you frequent (ish) USA flights and USA domestic flights can point me in the right direction for best use of FF points on Syd-USA or Melb-USA, and also the domestic flights, mindful of in flight time.
Ben
