How to get from Incheon to Sydney with Amex and Qantas points?

Hi all,

I have 100k Membership rewards and 250k Qff but am new to using points to redeem flights. Was wondering what the best value option is to get a 1 way ticket from INC to SYD for 2 adults.

Hi,

Seems like Qantas codeshare with Korean Air on a direct flight. However, as Korean Air is not a redemption partner for Qantas, that does not seem possible.

The next shortest flight is with Cathay Pacific via Hong Kong.

It costs 98000 Qantas points for 1 passenger. You can redeem 1 ticket with Qantas and the 2nd ticket with Asia Miles (transfer from Amex). It costs 70k Asia Miles if I am not mistaken.

Best to check whether Qantas and Asia Miles see availability first.
